"Healthy mouth, healthy body — we help you keep both."
Dr Inga Coert is an Independent Dental Practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience across both private and public sectors. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Western Cape in 2014, having earned Certificates of Merit every year of her degree for achieving distinctions throughout her studies.
After completing community service with the SANDF in 2014, Inga built a distinguished military dental career, rising to the rank of Major and being recognised as the Most Productive Dentist at Thaba Tshwane Dental Treatment Facility in 2023. She also holds a Professional Diploma in Nutrition with Distinction from Shaw Academy, reflecting her commitment to treating patients holistically.
Inga now practises in Fourways, offering a comprehensive range of treatments including crowns, bridges, dentures, fillings, extractions, cleanings and whitening. She also provides a mobile service to retirement homes, private residences and corporate settings. With a passion for oral medicine, paediatrics and aesthetic dentistry, she is eager to expand her scope into interceptive orthodontics, implants, and facial aesthetics.
Christine de Sousa is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with over 30 years of clinical experience. She qualified at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (2003), and has since built one of South Africa’s most respected mobile dental hygiene practices.
In 2015, she founded Christine’s Mobile Smiles, a pioneering mobile clinic dedicated primarily to elderly residents in care homes and retirement villages across Johannesburg. Her work with patients living with dementia, physical disabilities, and complex health needs has demonstrated measurable outcomes, including reduced urinary tract infections and lower antibiotic dependency through improved oral hygiene protocols.
Christine is a sought-after international keynote speaker, having presented at world-leading conferences through CAPPS MEA (Centre for Advanced Professional Practices), including Johns Hopkins, Tawam Hospital, OHASA, and SADA (South African Dental Association) since 2011. In 2023, she was selected to represent South Africa at the 36th Dental ConfEx at Madinat Jumeirah Arena, Dubai, one of the most prestigious dental events in the Middle East, Africa and America. She has also appeared on television alongside Michael Mol, championing the vital link between oral health and systemic wellbeing.
Nomsa Portia Ngwena is a cornerstone of The Smile High Centre with 13 years of dedicated service. Qualified as a dental assistant from Tshwane University of Technology (2019), Nomsa brings a rare combination of clinical skill and warm, genuine care to every patient interaction, the kind of presence that puts nervous patients immediately at ease.
Her journey with the practice is a testament to loyalty and growth. Having worked alongside Christine long before her formal qualification, Nomsa developed a deep understanding of mobile dentistry from the inside out. Today, she seamlessly bridges the clinical and administrative sides of the practice, keeping operations running with quiet efficiency.
Tech-savvy, hardworking and endlessly positive, Nomsa’s can-do attitude is felt by everyone she works with. We are fortunate to have her.

Christine de Sousa was selected to present at the Dental Hygienist Seminar at the 36th Dental ConfEx, held at Madinat Jumeirah Arena & Conference Centre, Dubai, one of the most prestigious dental conferences in the Middle East, Africa and America, facilitated by CAPPS MEA (Centre for Advanced Professional Practices). Only a handful of practitioners from across the world are invited to represent their country on this stage. Christine spoke on the vital link between oral health and systemic wellbeing, drawing on her extensive work with elderly patients where improved oral hygiene protocols have led to measurable outcomes including reduced urinary tract infections and decreased antibiotic dependency. Her invitation reflects her standing as an international authority on holistic oral health.
“As someone with a phobia of dentists, Doctor Inga and her amazing assistant Nomsa put me at ease with their gentle and caring approach. Her natural and calming demeanour made the entire process seamless. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares, they’ve earned a loyal patient in me.”
“I was embarrassed to open my mouth. Then came the Zoom meetings, and I literally could not look at my hanging front tooth, so I mumbled and would not smile. With care and patience, my mouth was transformed, and now I can smile again and really feel happy. I can highly recommend The Smile High Centre for professional and affordable dental care.”
“I met Christine over 20 years ago, so thorough, so knowledgeable, so genuinely caring. When she went mobile, I understood: she needed to bring that level of care directly to everyone. I thank her for keeping all my teeth in perfect condition for so many happy years. We need far more individuals like her.”
